Island seafood: tourist menu or walk away?
Krabi / Andaman. I can see a fish on ice with no number. The daily budget page already says islands spike. I need the stall rule, not a “secret beach BBQ.”
A number before the grill
| If | Do | Walk |
|---|---|---|
| Price per kilo is on a board or they say it before fire | Maybe | “Later, later” with a smile |
| Set menu with a number | Fine if you wanted that plate | Assuming the set is the fish you pointed at |
| No price, they pick “the good one” | Walk | Paying for a story |
| You are on a pier the speedboat dumped you at | Expect tourist gravity | Comparing it to a Bangkok stall |
Daily budget already flags island extras. This is the fish. Cash. Ask the number twice if you have to.
Which island, and if they showed a kilo price.
