Island seafood: tourist menu or walk away?

Krabi / Andaman. I can see a fish on ice with no number. The daily budget page already says islands spike. I need the stall rule, not a “secret beach BBQ.”

October, 12 days, want to swim. Krabi or Samui? I know Andaman is wetter then. How wet. Last October people here said the gulf side was the less annoying one.
