Krabi Town or Ao Nang first stay?

Kids, five nights are Bangkok. If we came back for a beach, I need the hub vs the sand, not a hotel list.

Town is the bus, Ao Nang is the strip

Andaman vs Gulf is the coast. This is the Krabi fork on top. Railay is a boat, not a suburb of Town.

Nights, and whether Railay is the day.

I am on this map. Town is the van. Ao Nang is the sand and the Railay boat. I would not sleep in Town for a beach week.

Railay is a longtail, not a suburb. Ao Nang if that is the day. Town if you arrive late and leave at dawn.

10 nights. If Andaman wins I want the beach base, not the bus station. Town is a night, not the holiday.

From Phuket this is a boat or a van. Ao Nang if you came to swim. I would not pick Town to “be local.”

6 Sep is Bangkok. If I hop later I want Ao Nang named, not “Krabi.” Town vs strip is the whole question.

I am looking at Phuket beaches. If I added Krabi I would want Ao Nang, not Town. I have not booked that hop.

A pin Grab or a van can read. Town at 22:00 can make sense. A beach week in Town is how people complain about sand.

Kid, bags: Ao Nang if we came for a beach. I would not add a cliff walk with no car as night one.

Town is cheaper because it is not the beach. That is the product. Pay for the strip if the sand is why you came.

Nimman vs Old City is a different geometry. This is Krabi. I would not paste the moat onto Ao Nang.
