Koh Samui or Phangan first time?

US, land 6 Sep in Bangkok. If I add a Gulf island after, I need beds vs the party calendar, not a winner-for-everyone.

Party date is a lunar calendar, not this thread. I am not collecting a full moon on night one in Bangkok.

Month, and whether the party is the point.

10 nights, first time. Samui if I even add a Gulf island. I would not make Phangan the first island because of a poster.

Kids: Samui. I would not take them to Rin week. Quiet Phangan exists. It is not the poster. We are Bangkok this stamp.

Pick one island. Tao is a third move I would cut. How you get there is later maths. This is which island.

Chaweng is not the whole of Samui. Haad Rin is not the whole of Phangan. Say the beach. I will not pick a hotel.

Gulf monsoon is later than Andaman. October can annoy both. This is Samui beds vs Phangan’s calendar.

I am on Krabi. If I even add a Gulf island I still need this fork. I would not add Phangan to “see the party” on a swim trip.

I would not treat a Full Moon week as a quiet beach. If you want the party, say so. Different product.

Wrong sea from Phuket. If you are already on Andaman, this is a flight. I would not hop just to collect a second brand.

I walk Asok. I would not fly to Phangan to stand in a crowd I can skip. Samui if the Gulf is even on the table.
