7-Eleven breakfast or a cafe in Bangkok?

I can see a 7-Eleven from here. Cafe prices are a different band. I need calories before a BTS hop, not a latte photoshoot.

Sealed vs a sit-down

IfTakeWhy
06:30, you need something in a bag7-Eleven: rice, boiled egg, banana, sealed drinkYou know the price on the shelf
You want coffee you did not inventCafeYou pay for the chair and the time
Stomach after a late landingSealed + hot can be the boring productRaw cut fruit from a street bucket at dawn
The SIM counter is why you walked inThat is registration, not breakfastA 7-Eleven that will not scan a passport is the other thread

Daily budget already puts street food in the tight band. 7-Eleven is the sealed version of that. Cards often work. Keep small notes for the stall later.

How many mornings, and if you need to sit.

Rice and egg from 7-Eleven is a real breakfast. A cafe is a chair. I use both. Do not moralise the plastic bag.

Hot food in the warmer vs a sandwich that has been sitting: look. Sealed drink. The SIM desk is a different counter, sometimes a different shop.

I grab 7-Eleven when I am walking Asok at an hour cafes are still closed. That is logistics, not a personality.

Night one I want a door, not a cafe hunt. 7-Eleven is open. I can sit later.

I have a booking. If I land after the last train I am not hunting espresso. Sealed. Cafe when the sun is up.

I prebooked the pin. Breakfast can be the shop downstairs. I would not add a cafe with a 40-minute wait to night one.

Kids: 7-Eleven is predictable. A cafe is a maybe. I will pay for predictable the first mornings.

After DMK I wanted anything sealed. A pretty cafe can still serve ice I did not ask for. 7-Eleven the first morning was the boring win.

6 Sep late. I will not romanticise breakfast. Shelf price. I can find a cafe when I can spell the soi.

Budget band: the cafe is how the tight day dies. 7-Eleven is the line item you can count. Sit when you have the morning.

Same 7-Eleven in Chiang Mai. The cafe tax is Nimman. This question was the shelf vs the chair, not the city.
