Doi Inthanon as a day trip from Chiang Mai?

I have a fan seater north. If I survive it, I need summit vs a closed trail, not a mist brochure.

This week: do not buy Kew Mae Pan. Rains calendar. Summit still exists. Leave early. I will not quote a van. Gate fee is the DNP board, not a 2019 screenshot.
