Install Grab before landing in Thailand?
10 nights, first time. I keep seeing OTP failure in arrivals. I need the install step, not which car after midnight.
Log in on home data
| If | Do | Fail |
|---|---|---|
| Before you fly | Install, log in, payment method that actually works | First launch on airport Wi-Fi with a dead eSIM |
| OTP wants a number | A working login from home. Thai number helps later | A Facebook seller’s “verified account” |
| You land after the last train | Official taxi queue is the backup | Hunting the app as the only plan |
| Bolt too | Same: install both at home | Brand speech in the hall |
The Suvarnabhumi midnight thread is the pickup. The wrong-pin thread is the dot. This is the phone. eSIM is the other desk.
Home Android/iPhone, and if you already have a login.
