Scooter checkpoint: what do I show?

AU, I have not rented yet. If I do, I do not want to invent a bribe as a personality. I need the documents, not a Facebook tariff.

Not legal advice. Enforcement is patchy and then a checkpoint. 1155 if it goes sideways. I have not picked a beach yet. I still want the list.

Passport in the bag, or only a photo on the phone.

Passport, home licence, IDP with motorcycle class. Helmet on the head. I still see shops rent off a car photo. Those are two conversations. This is the checkpoint.

Phuket has been asking. Carry the paper. A cracked rental helmet is still a ticket. I would not open with cash.

At the roadside you need the licence they asked for, not a hostel speech. A PDF you did not read will not help in the rain.

I do not ride. Grab. If you already decided to rent, the papers are the product. I would not bribe as a plan.

Video the bike at the shop. That does not replace Category A. It only helps when they invent a scratch later.
