Night market or mall food court in Bangkok?

People treat “night market” as a personality. I need cooked food vs air-con, not a drone photo of lanterns.

Cook-to-order still wins. The budget page already says cards work in malls and cash at stalls.

Night or lunch, and if you will sit.

If you want the stall, go when the woks are on. A market at 16:00 can still be plastic toys. Mall if you need a toilet and a price on a screen.

Asok: I use the mall when I am done. Night market is a plan, not a default because the hotel photo had lanterns.

Chatuchak is a weekend day. I keep seeing it sold as a night. That is how you stand in a closed lot.

Mall is not automatically more expensive per plate. Surge Grab to a far market is how the “cheap dinner” dies.

I wanted a Grab pin at 01:00. I would not add a night-market hunt to that. Mall or sealed. Stall tomorrow.

Cards in the mall. Cash at the stall. The budget page already said that. Do not assume the night market takes Visa.
