Is a street near Asok quiet after 10pm?

I pointed Asok from Don Mueang. I want sleep, not a review score. This is noise, not whether to walk 400 metres for a 7-11.

Quiet is a soi, not a station

Where to stay will not name hotels. Soi number and which BTS exit. That is the useful reply.

The Asok 7-11 stretch is not quiet. Traffic and light. Fine to walk. Sleep is a soi off it, not the main road listing.

Ask for the soi number. “Asok” is a station, not a lullaby. High floor, window that closes, away from the track if you can.

Nana is louder. Thong Lo is a different mix. “Near Asok” can mean either. The listing should survive a map zoom.

I would message: which soi, which BTS exit, bar next door or not. If they dodge, that is the answer.

Kids: I will pay for the side street. I will not argue with a bassline at 23:00.

I wanted a pin Grab could hit at 01:00. Quiet was second. I would still ask the soi before I book the next one.

Prebook the pin. Then ask quiet. Two questions. A silent suburb you cannot spell at 01:00 is how the airport thread starts again.

Nimman has the same fork: cafe soi vs the main road. This thread is Asok. Keep Chiang Mai out.

Walking after midnight is a different question. This one is whether you can sleep. Do not mix them.

Earplugs are cheaper than moving hotels. Still get the soi in writing.

If the map shows a club at the door, believe the map. Reviews that say “a bit noisy” mean you will not sleep.
