UK passport. FCDO still says do not go, so every normal policy just bounces. Did anyone in the EU or UK actually get a policy that names Syria, and which one sold it?

EU resident. I bought IATI. They have Syria in the list. Different plans, I took a cheap one. I have not made a claim so I cannot tell you if they actually pay.

Yeah. FCDO against all travel means a lot of UK policies are just no. If they will not put Syria in writing I would not pretend you are covered.
