Doi Suthep — sunrise trip or afternoon fine?

Sunrise worth it once — leave Nimman 5:30am, songthaew from Chang Phueak gate (~40 baht each way) or Grab 250–350. Temple opens early; crowds arrive 9am with tour buses. Afternoon is fine Nov–Feb when haze low — sunset haze worse in burning season. Dress shoulders/knees covered; 30 baht foreigners at ticket booth. Combine with Doi Pui Hmong village only if you have a full day.
