Minimum 2 nights in Pai — Aya minibus is 3+ hours each way on 762 curves, nauseating without meds. Day trip means 6+ hours on the bus for 2 hours in town. Motion sickness pills essential; sit front if anxious. Sticky waterfalls and Pai canyon need overnight to enjoy. Small plane exists but pricey. If you only have one day, skip Pai and do Sticky Waterfall or Doi Inthanon instead.
