Tapah route from KL via PLUS highway exit Tapah — 3 hr traditional most vans use, windy final 45 min. Simpang Pulai newer road from Ipoh direction less nausea some drivers prefer, longer if starting KL south. Both reach Tanah Rata — check Waze live weekend jams. Tapah more services petrol food stop. Return same route daylight only fog risk.
