Baht bus Beach Road loop 10 baht — use 80% of trips daylight. Grab when: midday heat, Pratumnak hill awkward, late night post-bar, U-Tapao run, Nong Nooch with kids. Jomtien ↔ central Grab 80–120 baht. Surge Walking Street exit midnight. Monthly Grab still under 1,000 baht if mostly baht bus. Couples split — bus down, Grab back sweaty.
