May–October afternoon downpours common — morning beach 8–11am, mall or Ramayana Water Park afternoon. Terminal 21 food court, Teddy Bear Museum, Ripley's backup. Fewer crowds, hotels 30% cheaper. Koh Larn ferries cancel if Andaman-style rough — check pier morning. July doable with flexible plan, not pool-only vacation.
