Jomtien vs Central Pattaya for 3 nights?

Two guys, want some nightlife but also beach time during the day. Is Jomtien too far from the action at night or is the baht bus easy enough?

Baht bus along Beach Road runs until late — 10 baht hop-on anywhere. Stay Jomtien for sleep quality and calmer daytime swim, ride north 15–20 min for nightlife. Central Pattaya if you want walkable malls and Walking Street but noise until 2am. Pratumnak Hill middle ground on the hill. Jomtien beach cleaner than Pattaya Beach near pier.
