ETS/KTM to Bandar Melaka (~RM35–55, 2–2.5 hrs) most comfortable without car — then Grab RM10–15 to Jonker. Bus TBS/Melaka Sentral cheaper (RM12–25, 2 hrs) but terminal traffic. Drive PLUS highway ~2 hrs, RM15–25 toll + fuel. Friday evening bus queues heavy — book ETS seats online. Day trippers often bus; overnight couples ETS + heritage hotel walkable.
