Book Nancy's Kitchen 2 days ahead for weekend lunch — authentic Nyonya, pongteh and ayam buah keluak when available (~RM50–80/person). Has pork dishes so halal travelers skip. Walk-in weekday sometimes works, Saturday rarely. Cottage Spices on Jalan Merdeka excellent backup, closed Thursdays. Call/WhatsApp morning-of if plans change. Worth planning — best Peranakan sit-down in town.
