Hong Island tour better snorkeling — lagoon outer reef healthier, less boat traffic than 4 Islands pack. 4 Islands still decent at Poda and Chicken Island but crowded fins-to-fins. Bring own mask if picky — tour gear foggy. Dry season visibility best Dec–April. Green season murkier both. Snorkel-focused? Pick Hong. Sandbank photos? Pick 4 Islands.
