Weekend Penang Hill queues hit 60–90 min for the funicular standard line — buy fast lane / priority ticket (roughly RM40–80 package vs RM12 base) if you have kids or a tight schedule. Better move: go weekday 8:30am opening or book online time slot in advance. Upper station view needs clear sky — check webcam before you queue. Return line is also long after 5pm sunset rush. Combine with Kek Lok Si same morning, hill afternoon only if weather holds. Hijab-friendly — normal tourist attire.
