Walking back from Jalan Alor at 11pm alone — bad idea? Heard about women-only Grab option.

Main tourist strips (Jalan Alor, Pavilion frontage, KLCC park paths) are fine until midnight with normal city awareness — stick to lit roads, don't cut through empty lots. GrabPink (women drivers for women passengers) is available in KL — select in the Grab app safety menu; wait may be 5–10 min longer. Regular Grab is also standard for solo women at night — share trip with a friend via the app. Avoid walking alone on Changkat back lanes after bars close 2am. Monorail stops around midnight — plan last ride or pre-book Grab before rain. Pepper spray isn't necessary; phone + Grab is the actual safety net most locals use.

Walked Jalan Alor to hotel 11pm twice — busy, lit, fine. Changkat bar street got sketchier empty side streets.

Women-only LRT coach exists peak hours — sign on platform, optional not mandatory.
