Aquaria under KLCC and Petrosains inside Suria are the best kid-friendly rainy-day combo — both fully indoor and walkable from each other. Pavilion and Mid Valley work as generic mall escapes but lack the wow factor. Batu Caves in heavy rain is dangerous on the steps — skip it. Central Market plus lunch near Merdeka Square fills a dry afternoon. Afternoon storms often clear by evening; check the radar instead of assuming all-day rain.

National Museum is underrated for kids old enough to read. Cheap entry, quiet, dry.

Rain usually afternoon burst not 24hr — check radar app. Morning outdoor, mall afternoon often works.
