Monsoon Nov–Feb — morning beach usually fine, afternoon downpours 3pm common. Fewer crowds, hotels 30% cheaper. Boat tours and SkyCab cancel lightning — buffer day essential. Kilim and duty-free work any weather. Cenang swimming between showers OK. Not pool-only vacation but workable with flexible plan. Dry bag boat trips always.
