Two adults. Scooter cheaper but night rain + hills worry me.

Rent car RM60–100/day at LGK airport if doing Kilim, Tanjung Rhu, Oriental Village — island spread out, Grab adds up fast. International license + home license required at checkpoints. Scooter OK Cenang-only but hills to SkyCab and north beaches sketchy in rain. Full tank return — petrol sparse north of Cenang. Two adults + bags → car wins.
