November edges December — cool mornings (18°C), clear skies before peak burning, Loy Krathong/Yi Peng bonus. December still excellent but busier and pricier around holidays. January fine, slightly warmer. Avoid Feb–April unless you accept smoke. October can rain but greener — fewer tourists. For nomads: Nov–Jan trifecta. Book Sunday Walking Street weekend if you land in Nov/Dec.
