Ari BTS area — worth staying vs visiting?

Ari is where locals actually brunch — Nana Coffee, Baan Somtum, soi wander without touts. Worth staying if you want quieter Bangkok and still BTS to Siam (15 min). Fewer big hotels than Sukhumvit — more boutique/guesthouse. Visit-only works as half day from anywhere on Sukhumvit line. Not ideal if nightlife is nightly — Grab to Thong Lo 80 baht. Great solo female vibe. Combine with Chatuchak Saturday (Mo Chit next stops).
