AIS and True both strong in Bangkok — airport counters arrivals hall, 299–450 baht tourist packs, passport photo. DTAC merged into True. eSIM Airalo/Holafly if QR ready on airport WiFi — no queue. Download Grab + Google Maps on WiFi before curbside. Top-up 7-Eleven. True shop in Siam cheaper day 2 if you can wait — not worth if landing tired 11pm.
