Batu Caves half day — worth it with kids 6 and 9?

Heat + 272 steps worries me. Alternative if they tap out?

Go before 9am — shade and fewer crowds. Steps are steep but kids 6+ manage if you pause. Monkeys steal food — no open bags. If they tap out, cave temple ground level still interesting; combine with KL Bird Park or National Zoo only if you want another indoor-ish stop.

KTM Komuter from KL Sentral is cheap. Grab easier with kids. Thaipusam season is packed — avoid unless you want the festival chaos.

We skipped caves and did Aquaria KLCC instead on a rainy day. Kids liked sharks more than stairs.
