AIS and True both fine island-wide — airport counters in arrivals after baggage, 299–450 baht tourist packs, passport copy. DTAC merged into True. eSIM via Airalo/Holafly works if QR ready on WiFi before Grab — no queue. Activate before curbside. Coverage weak only on remote north Similan boat day. Download Grab + Google Translate on airport WiFi first. Top-up 7-Eleven if data runs out — easier than second SIM.
