Wat Chalong first (shade, shorter attention span for kids), then Big Buddha hill (dress modest, shoulders/knees covered, free entry donations welcome). Grab between 150–250 baht. Big Buddha steps and heat tire toddlers — stroller OK at Chalong, harder at Buddha viewpoint. Skip midday — go 3pm or 8am. Monkeys at Big Buddha parking — no food bags.
