Similans are worth it once if you snorkel-dive — crystal water Nov–Apr only, park closed May–Oct. Pickup Kata 5–6am, pier north side (Tab Lamu), 90 min boat, back late. Price 2500–3500 baht. Better coral fish density than Phi Phi on a good day. Skip if you hate early alarms or have only 3 island days — Phi Phi + Phang Nga cover highlights easier from south beaches. Book limited daily quota ahead peak season.

Visibility insane — best snorkel of the trip. Long day though, back 7pm.
